Over the last four years the Parish Council has undertaken remedial work on the Lincoln Way cemetery hedge.
From an overgrown, unkempt hedge, in parts reaching nearly 20 feet in height, the hedge has been steadily reduced, mainly in height and less so in width, with a goal of having a manageable and aesthetically pleasing boundary.
The next stage is a substantial width reduction and residents are advised that the appearance will be less pleasing for the short term. Come next spring the new growth will remedy the short-term impact.
