Gritting run from 5pm Today
Remaining largely cloudy going into the afternoon, with spells of rain arriving from the north. These will clear south by the end of the day.
This evening will turn clear and dry, and skies will remain largely clear through the night too. Just the odd light patch of cloud drifting in.
Road temperatures will fall below freezing, which means we are doing a full gritting run from 5pm.
Warm Spaces in our libraries and leisure centres
You can find free, warm, and safe spaces across Central Bedfordshire including in our leisure centres and libraries, and everyone is welcome. Four of our six leisure centres have cafes available, and our libraries offer free Wi-Fi and access to public computers, as well as seating so you can enjoy time with a book. You are welcome to take your own food and drink to our libraries.
Several community organisations are also providing Warm Spaces this winter too. You can find a list of Warm Spaces near you on our website.
