Harlington Parish Council (HPC) were consulted by Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) regarding street names for the development noted above. HPC sought advice from Harlington Heritage Trust (HHT) for names with an historical connection. The following two names were suggested and have been accepted by CBC:
Giles
A well-known family in the village who owned the land on which the estate is to be built.
Beauchamp
A local historical figure and A lord of the manor.
Notice is hereby given to any living descendants should there be any issue with either name proposed.
