| This afternoon will see a mix of cloud and sunny spells. It will be mainly dry, but the odd shower can’t be ruled out.
Tonight, will be mostly clear, dry and cold. Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing which means we started our full gritting run at midday. Our Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) for people sleeping rough has been activated up to and including Friday 10 January. SWEP is activated when the temperature is forecast to drop to zero degrees (or below) for three consecutive nights. If you see someone sleeping rough, contact our network and we’ll make sure they are offered support. Let us know: |
