M1 junction 12 northbound entry slip road- technology work
I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out technology work on the M1 northbound at junction 12. Once complete, this will ensure the M1 continues to remain in a safe.
We plan to complete this work overnight on Monday 15 September 2025. We will work between 9pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the M1 northbound junction 12 entry slip road with a lane closure leading to the slip road and divert traffic as follows:
Traffic will be diverted via the M1 junction 12 southbound, to join the M1 northbound.
