Communication from Network Rail –

Harlington Railway Station Footbridge Upgrade – Additional works in February 2026

Further to my previous letter detailing February works, I’m writing to let you know about some additional works to be undertaken in February. These consist of surfacing works to platform1. To undertake these works, we need to access platform 1 through from Paxton Approach and will require vehicles to be parked on the road to deliver the works. We’re sorry for the disruption this will cause residents. This work will be carried out under a permit granted by the estate management company and access will be maintained for residents on Paxton approach. Detail of the shift is below:

Night shift dates and times Details of work
Saturday 22:30 – Sunday 08:00 Removal of existing surfacing to around new footbridge and lay and compact new surfacing

A small planer will remove the existing surfacing into a dumper which will transport to Paxton Approach where the arisings will be loaded into a grab wagon. The new surfacing will be discharged from a wagon into wheel barrows and laid and compacted.
