Hello everyone,
Thank you for sending information about events to us. We are happy to help spread the word!
Please see a new addition to the diary for an event happening this Sunday:
St Mary’s Church has Toddington Town Band performing a concert this Sunday, 4th October, at 2.30pm in the church. Tickets on the door: adult £8, child and concessions £6. The concert’s theme is ‘Smash Hits from Theatre & TV’.
We’ve received the following communication from Sue Fox who helps organise the Harlington Ramblers Well Being Walks:
“Eight wellness walkers had a wonderful, informative hour and half stroll at Wrest Park in September. We learnt about the park’s history, the trees, flowers and the people who lived and worked there. As an added bonus after our stroll we sat in the gardens, in the sun, drinking tea and eating cake from the café. The chat was plentiful; all agreed the trip was a success. We hope to repeat it soon and venture to other local parks/nature reserves in the near future”
Please see more information about the walks below.
Anyone is welcome to join the free wellness walks on a Friday morning. We are a lovely, friendly group who meet at 10.30am at the Village Hall and walk at the pace of the slowest for up to an hour and half to enjoy our beautiful Harlington countryside. Hopefully, you will enjoy our walks so much you will join us on one of our future trips too.

Harlington Ramblers Wellbeing Walks: The Harlington walks happen every Friday morning and start from the Village Hall Car Park at 10.30am. They are a great way to stay fit, enjoy the village, and meet fellow residents. It is almost impossible not to feel good when we’re walking outdoors – it’s a natural mood-booster and a tonic for mind and body.
Whether you used to enjoy walking but have lost your fitness or want to get started to improve your wellness, we’re all in it together. We’re a friendly bunch so you’ll get the warmest welcomes. Everyone walks for their own reasons, whether to ward off illness, manage health conditions or boost their wellbeing. Yet we all get more out of it by walking together.
