| We’re currently gritting |
| The afternoon will bring dry conditions with largely bright skies and a few patches of light cloud. It will turn windy by the evening.
Tonight, it will become cloudy with a few scattered showers moving in from the northwest, some of which may bring snow at times.
Road temperatures will once again drop below freezing, which is why our latest gritting run started at midday.
Support for people sleeping rough
Our Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) for people sleeping rough has been activated up to and including the evening of Sunday, 24 November.
SWEP is activated when the temperature is forecast to drop to zero degrees (or below) for three consecutive nights.
If you know of someone sleeping rough, you can ask for help via StreetLink. It only takes a minute to point an outreach worker to their location and get them help. You’ll get an update, when outreach workers have visited the person, about what is being done to help them.
Alternative options for the website are:
- Daytime: 0300 300 4370
- Out of hours: 0300 300 8098
