We continue to monitor the coronavirus situation closely in Luton and the latest data (relating to last week’s test results) shows that the number of infections in Luton is lower than in previous weeks. This is good news, but we will continue to rigorously monitoring the statistics.
Luton are proactively contacting residents in particular localities where there are still high numbers of cases, these individual households are being called for testing and are in streets close to the town centre.
More generally, anyone who works or studies in the town is now able to book in for tests, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.

Resident need to choose ‘I do not have symptoms, but my local council has asked me to get a test’. Residents will have a choice of a drive through, walk in test centre or a home test.
