ADVANCE NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES

Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Central Bedfordshire Council on the 17 March 2023
the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the following lengths of:
i. Footpath No 4, Harlington which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR)
0380 3008 (map point A) in a south westerly direction for approx. 163 metres to OS GR 0366
2921 (map point B)
ii. Footpath No 23, Harlington which extends from OS GR 0364 2996 (map point C) south south
easterly for approx. 400 metres and then south westerly for approx. 600 metres OS GR 0350
2988 (map point E) has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 26 March 2025.
These temporary closures are required to enable construction works. The closure is expected
to continue from 25 September 2023 to 26 March 2025.

The Order will continue in force until 25 March 2025 or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within eighteen months the Order may be
extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.
