We plan to carry out patching repair work on the A1(M) northbound between junctions 9 and 10. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, smoother road surface.
We plan to complete this work over one night on Tuesday 24 June 2025. We will work between 9pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A1(M) between junctions 9 and 10, and divert traffic as follows:
Drivers will be diverted off the A1(M) at junction 8. Drivers should follow the A602, then continue on the A600 and then take the A507 to rejoin the A1(M) at junction 10 (Baldock).
