M1 junction 13 to 12
I am writing to tell you that we are carrying out resurfacing work and renewing the traffic monitoring loops on the M1 southbound between junctions 13 and 12.
We anticipate this to take around 6 weeks to complete. We started work on Monday 6 March and expect to be completed on Saturday 15 April. We will work between 9:05pm and 5am on weeknights only, weather conditions permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the M1 between junctions 13 and 12. Traffic will be diverted via the A421, Tongwell Street, Bletcham Way, A5 southbound to Kellys Kitchen Roundabout, A4146, A505, A5 Link to return M1 J11A.
