Please find below a traffic management bulletin detailing closures for the M1 junction 10 to 13 for week commencing 4 December 2023. This update includes closure information until the morning of Saturday 16 December.
Roadworks affect all journeys, which is why it is important they are completed as quickly and safely as possible. We’re keeping all aspects of our overnight closures under constant review during this period and will aim where possible to open the lanes earlier than the times displayed.
The precise dates and times of the works may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, we’ll keep you updated of significant changes. Please note this bulletin does not include any emergency closures that may be needed during this period.
We kindly ask that drivers follow the signed diversion routes which is shown on our http://www.nationalhighways.co.uk/M1junction10-13 and displayed on the local roads on the day of the closures. The diversion routes are chosen as they can deal with all motorway traffic in the event of planned roadworks, or any unplanned incidents that may occur, which result in a closure of the motorway.
Tuesday 5 December: for 4 nights: 10pm – 5am Full overnight closure of M1 junction 13 to 11a Southbound. Lane closed overnight on M1 junction 11a to 13 Northbound
Monday 11 December for 1 night: 10pm – 5am No planned closures, Full overnight closure of M1 junction 9 to 11a Northbound
Tuesday 12 December for 4 nights: 10pm – 5am No planned closures, Full overnight closure of M1 junction 11a to 13 Northbound
