Multi-million-pound bridge replacement in Bedfordshire to begin next week
HPC has just been advised of work due to start on Monday 12th May 2025, re-placing Harlingtons bridge.
To enable this essential work to take place, Network Rail will need to cordon off a section of the station car park at Harlington to store construction vehicles, building materials and staff welfare facilities. Given the scale of the bridge replacement project, this space will occupy the lower half of the car park. Due to the reduction in available car parking spaces, Harlington Station’s car park is expected to be very busy for the duration of the work.
Customers are advised to travel to Leagrave or Luton stations where car parks with spare capacity are available. People with season car park tickets for Harlington will be able to use the car parks at Leagrave and Luton stations at no extra cost.
