Hello Everyone,
For the first time ever Harlington Parish Council are providing more Christmas lights and arranging a spectacular Christmas Light Switch On Event on Saturday 21st November 2026.
Leading up to the lights being switched on at 4.30pm, a full programme of events is planned at the village car park and Village Hall. Joe Corrigan, singer and compere will be entertaining alongside performances from local theatre groups, schools and choirs. There will be hot food wagons, a beer and fizz tent, fair rides for younger children, Santa’s Grotto and Craft Fair.
We are looking for volunteers to help this community event run smoothly. If you are able to give up an hour or more of your time to help on the day it would be greatly appreciated. The event will run from 12.45pm to 7pm.
