This morning the Clerk has been contacted by several concerned residents regarding the tree being cut down in Lincoln Way.
Following an investigation, it has been found that the land in question is owned by the adjoining property, the tree does not have a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) on it, therefore the landowner does not require permission to remove the tree.
Harlington Parish Council and Central Bedfordshire Council were unaware of the intention to remove the tree.
