Following our earlier post we have received additional communications from Central Bedfordshire Streetworks.  Please see below:

 Proposed Temporary Road Closure – Bridle Way/ Harlington Road, Toddington

 I have a request for a Temporary Road Closure at the above location to enable loop recuts for traffic lights works to take place safely.  Details are listed in the schedule below and having assessed the application I am satisfied the request is justified.

The restrictions are to be in operation only when the necessary signs are erected on site. The Legal Order will be made to cover an 18 month period.  Access may be allowed from time to time according to local signing.

If you have any observations, you wish to make I would be grateful if you could let me know as soon as possible.

Reason:                      Loop recuts for Traffic Lights

 Length affected:        Bridle Way – from J&K recovery signs to B5120

                                    Harlington Road – from Nursery Cottages to Bridle Way

Date:                           Bridle Way – The closure will be in place from 2200hrs on 7 September to 0500hrs on 8 September

                                    Harlington Rd – The closure will be in place from 2200hrs on 8 September to 0500hrs on 9 September

  Diversion Route        Bridle Way – B5120, A5, A5505, B5790, B579, B530 and vice versa.

                                    Harlington Road – A5120, A507, A6, A5228, A505, A5505, B530 and vice versa.

 

                                   

                                    

 

  1. The applicant will be responsible for taking down all Central Bedfordshire Council public notices immediately after the works requiring the Order have been completed.
