Central Bedfordshire Council is in the early stages of preparing an All Age Skills Strategy which will set out the skills, competencies and expertise needed to support inclusive economic growth, maximise life chances, and enhance business competitiveness.
CBC are organising an engagement event which will take place on 23 February, 09.30-11.00 at the Rufus Centre, Steppingley Road, Flitwick, MK45 1AH. This event is designed to enable local organisations, community and voluntary sector representatives to identify labour market challenges impacting on the economic health and wellbeing of Central Bedfordshire and its residents and businesses, and how this has impacted disproportionately on specific groups. The session will be highly interactive and will aim to share experience, ideas and solutions to support the case for intervention and targeted strategic action.
